Siobhan McCloskey, Partner

Siobhan graduated in law from the University of London and was admitted as a Solicitor in Ireland in 1997.  She joined Good & Murray Smith in 2000 and became a Partner in 2003. 

Prior to joining Good and Murray Smith, Siobhan worked predominately in Commercial and Taxation Law and obtained significant experience in this area.

She has since developed a practice in Conveyancing, both commercial and residential and she now specialises in that area at Good & Murray Smith. On the basis of Siobhan’s experience in the field of conveyancing, she is regularly retained to act as an expert conveyancing witness in Professional Negligence cases against solicitors. 

Siobhan also advises one of the country’s largest Local Authorities on their responsibilities and powers under the Social and Affordable Provisions as provided for in the Planning and Development Acts 2000-2002, and she was instrumental in developing the templates used by Local Authorities throughout the country in the implementation of these Provisions.

In addition to her conveyancing practice, Siobhan is also is a registered Trust and Estates Practitioner and is responsible for the Private client team at Good & Murray Smith.
